St. Patrick’s Day commemorates the death of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, according to History.com. On and around the holiday, people in the U.S. often wear green and celebrate Irish culture with parades, drinking, music, dancing and food like soda bread and corned beef. The Central Connecticut Celtic Cultural Committee will be hosting the 2025 Greater Hartford St. Patrick's day parade on March 15th to celebrate the 53nd Anniversary of this great event!
